Maybe you've been away from the Catholic Church for a few months, maybe it has been decades. Know that the Lord desires your return and will rejoice with you upon your return. "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance." -Luke 15:7.
Many people return to the faith after a return to confession, as Confession allows us to "repent and believe the Good News." Returning to confession can be scary; telling the worst of ourselves to another can be difficult especially if it has been years or even decades. The Lord longs to offer you forgiveness and Confession brings healing to the soul.
Oftentimes, an Examination of Conscience helps people make a good confession.
There are regularly scheduled times or you can contact Fr. Michael at 920-202-3275 or by email to make an appointment. For a guide on how to go to confession, see the video below.
If you'd like to talk to a priest, email Father Michael at [email protected]. If you've taken those first steps back to the Church, and would like to talk to someone else about what comes after, contact Luke at [email protected]. To contact any other parish staff members, see our staff contact list.
