Maybe you've been away from the Catholic Church for a few months, maybe it has been decades. Know that the Lord desires your return and we rejoice with you upon your return. "There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance." Luke 15:7.
Many people return to the faith through a return to confession. Confession allows us to "repent and believe the Good News." It might seem like returning to confession can be scary. Telling the worst of ourselves to another can be difficult especially if it has been years or even decades. Know that the Lord longs to offer you forgiveness. Confession brings healing to the soul.
You can go to confession at the regularly scheduled times or make an appointment or 920-202-3275. For a guide on how to go to confession, see the video below.
Oftentimes, an Examination of Conscience helps people to make a good confession.
