The sacrament of Confirmation is the acceptance of the Church's mission to spread and defend the faith. Confirmation seals the gifts of the Holy Spirit within us that we can more faithfully carry out our task of spreading and defending the faith.
The sacrament of Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of initiation, together with Baptism and Confirmation. Confirmation strenghthens the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.
Confirmation classes will be on the same dates and times as all high school classes, Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. Confirmation classes are held all four quarters of the Religious Education year. Students are required to attend all four quarters*
2025 Confirmation retreat is TBD. Confirmation Mass is scheduled for May 14, 2025.
*This does not apply to Catholic school students. Reach out to Luke Gietman if your student attends a Catholic School to discuss preparation for the Sacrament.
