  • RCIA-Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
    CONSIDERING BECOMING CATHOLIC?

    RCIA is the program by which non-Catholics learn more about the Catholic faith.  If you are interested in becoming Catholic, contact Luke Gietman at lgietman@stmarygreenville.org or 757-6555 ext. 207. Feel free to check out the topics that will be covered as a part of our RCIA program. Get started by filling out the form below and Luke will be in touch or fill out the RCIA form and send it to lgietman@stmarygreenville.org as an attachment. 

    RCIA is for anyone...:
    • interested in the Catholic Faith
    • that's never been baptized 
    • who was baptized in a different Christian faith but wants to be Catholic
    • baptized Catholic but did not received 1st Communion or Confirmation 
    • married to a Catholic and would like to become a Catholic
    • who is Catholic but wants to learn more about the Faith

    RCIA is a spiritual formation process beginning in the fall and ending with initiation into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in the spring.  These classes are for anyone with interest in Catholicism regardless of current denomination. Please encourage your friends and neighbors with interest in Catholicism to give RCIA a try.
