Praised be Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the Hearts on Fire Youth Ministry website! This page is designed to give the youth and families from St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish constant updates about Youth Ministry events going on in the parish. We invite you (or your child) to get involved.

Why get involved?

God loves us so much and desires for us to be happy, joyful and fully alive!  It is the purpose and goal of our Youth Ministry program to purposefully form a community of young people who are seeking true fulfillment and true happiness through Jesus Christ.  It is when we are authentically and fully ourselves that we can truly experience Christ.  This is our truest calling and vocation in life.

...and we have a lot of fun!

Who can get involved in Youth Ministry?

We have events for Middle School students (grades 6-8) and high school students who belong to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish.  Friends from other parishes are more than welcome, too!

What do you do?

We do a lot of things!  We try very hard to have a youth ministry event once a month for high school students and every other month for middle school students.  We do youth nights at the parish (anything from pumpkin carving to glow-in-the-dark capture the flag to nights of powerful speakers and Eucharistic Adoration and Service Days out in the community.  We also do ski trips in the winter, attend the March for Life every January in Washington D.C., and do some stellar summer trips!

High School Youth Ministry Night

Saturday, March 29, 2014

6:30pm—8:00pm @ St. Mary’s

The first vocation of every baptized Christian is to be holy, but what does this look like? We often hear stories of radical conversion and remarkable dedication, but most of us live much simpler lives where grace is slowly unraveled. In this interactive presentation, practical ways to live this call to be holy are identified and explained. In its simplest form, to be holy is to be set apart. Presentation given by Drew Mulloy.

This year St. Mary's will not be taking a separate group to the March for Life in Washington D.C.  Instead we will join the Diocese of Green Bay as youth from throughout the Diocese will travel together to stand up for the dignity of the human person.  Click here to be directed to the information, registration form and everything else concering this powerful witness to the dignity of life.
