Faith Formation
Greenville, Wisconsin
Welcome to this introduction to our innovative and exciting program. Please contact our office for information on First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
Welcome!
Praise be to Jesus Christ! Welcome to the Faith Formation area of our website! We proclaim Jesus Christ and teach the Catholic faith and doctrine on Wednesday evenings. We also prepare children for the sacraments. Understanding that age groups differ in how best to be engaged by our incredible Catholic Faith, we have developed a course-elective based high school program where students choose and select from optional and required courses. Throughout the different courses there is a strict adherence to the Catholic faith. Using Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition we explore the deep riches of Catholicism. The High School program offers a flexible schedule which allows our students to maintain multiple committments and their primary faith. Our grade and middle school programs offer two different time offerings to better fit busy schedules. We also work with homeschool families. Call us for a guide and to answer questions.
Join us for prayer every night of Faith Formation.
On FF nights at 6:45 we will be praying the Liturgy of the Hours. If you are a 6pm parent coming to pick up your children or a 7:15 parent or student come pray with us. You don’t need to know how to pray the Liturgy of the Hours-we will show you.
High School:
Our high school program requires nine total classes to be completed for a student to enter Confirmation. Six required courses and three elective courses make up the nine. Click here to view our required courses. Click here to view the elective courses we offer.
Parents:
Miss the parent meeting? Get a synopsis of the things covered here.
Homeschool families:
If you are a homeschool family please contact the Faith Formation office to register your children. This enables us to keep contact with your family and get an idea of the material you are covering with your children. This also helps us keep better records to keep you informed of things coming up in your child’s formation.

What’s Going On?
Hearts on Fire Youth Ministry
For Complete Youth Ministry events visit our sister site www.stmarysyouthministry.wordpress.com.
Pro-Life
Last January some of our students went on the March for Life in Washington D.C. If your child would like to get involved in the pro-life opportunities we have for our youth, please contact the FF office.
There are many other opportunites to get involved locally in the fight against abortion, euthanasia, and the other aspects of our culture that attack the dignity of life. Join staff from St. Mary’s in the local Pro-Life activities. Check out a list of Pro-Life activities in the Fox Valley here.
Defending the Faith
Defending the Faith is complete for the year. This program will start up again in the summer of ‘10. Defending the Faith is a program aimed at high school students who want to know more about their faith, how to spread the faith, and defend the faith. Topics will vary week by week and this program will be conversation driven. The students are able to talk about the questions they have and get real answers. Sample topics are on the apologetics flyer.
Steeplechase
The 2nd annual St. Mary’s Steeplechase was once again a success. Our students toured some of the most beautiful and majestic edifices in our diocese built for the glory of God. Consider joining us on the 3rd annual Steeplechase coming in the summer of ‘10. Click here for the flyer for the ‘09 Steeplechase.
Here are photos from 2008’s Steeplechase. We visited some beautiful churches in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Click here for Steeplechase photos
