Greetings parents!  May the Lord bless and keep you.  Thank you for entrusting your children to our care.  However, Faith Formation is only a tool for your family to help with the finer points of doctrine and dogma.  YOU are the primary educators in the faith of your child.  You are the most important piece of the puzzle.  It is your faith and your faith life that your child will emulate most.  Likewise your entire parenthood is based upon one thing-am I doing everything I can to get my child to heaven?  This requires more than just Faith Formation, it requires living the faith.  Your fidelity to the call of Christ is the most important aspect in the faith of your child.  Please take your child to Mass.  Go to Confession and take your child with you.  Teach your kids that God comes first and all else is second.  Pass on an alive faith with a heart burning for Christ.
